Pls note there has been lot of emails from o/b crew & s/off crew reg the above subject matter.
As per Accounts dept. crew's respective salaries have been already deducted from our corporate bank account. ONLY IF THERE IS ANY BOUNCEBACK / REFUND SALARIES, ACCOUNTS DEPT WILL REINITIATE REMITTING OF SALARIES TO THE CONCERNED CREW MEMBER'S NEW BANK ACCOUNT AS GIVEN TO US.
Without any bouncebacks, Accounts cannot make any further payment as our system will show double payment for the concerned crew for the concerned month - this is unwarranted.
Now, the time required for the bounceback to occur is anybody's guess - from our past experience, it may happen in one week or it may not happen in next few months.
On the top of all these, there is another hurdle to cross - OFAC [

If crew salary is caught in OFAC, it neither goes forward & neither it is refunded back to us. Thru our remitting bank, they will enquire reg the IMO number of vessel, permanent residence address of crew, reasons for the remittance etc etc. wch leads to inordinate delay.
After answering their above queries &
if they are satisfied, only then the funds goes forward & is credited to the crew's account.
In such cases of non receipt, pls email the bank statements of respective crew to Accounts dept, so that they can take up the matter wth our remitting bank.
